If you have a copy of a referral from your physician or specialist, or a copy of a previous audiogram, please send it to us before your appointment so we can add it to your chart for review.

  • OHIP Coverage: OHIP covers audiology services only when provided in a hospital or in an Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) Specialist clinic. Private-practice audiologists do not have access to billing through the OHIP program. The ADP program for hearing aids from the ministry of health is a seperate program, which we have access to.

  • Private Health Insurance: Audiologist & Speech-Language Pathologists do not have access to direct billing. We have communicated this request to our associations as per the recommendation by providers like Telus.* ***Direct billing is available for all 3rd party funder programs listed on our website (Ex: VAC, RCMP, CAF, WSIB, etc.)

Audiology

We provide comprehensive hearing assessments for adults & children, hearing aids & related clinical services, consultations for tinnitus, custom earmoulds and ear/wax consults, all through a patient-centered and multi-clinician approach. Each consultation may be handled by a different professional, and online availability for these services varies depending on the provider.

We provide ongoing clinical care for patients who purchased their hearing aids from us or have purchased our ongoing clinical services for their existing devices. The below services marked as "Follow-up", are included in these patients' original purchase with us.

Born and raised in Orléans, Ontario, Karine built her career in private audiology clinics throughout the Ottawa region, spending most of her years serving the Orléans community, and later expanding her expertise abroad as a Managing Audiologist in New Zealand. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Linguistics (2008) and a Master of Health Sciences in Audiology (2010) from the University of Ottawa, and has successfully completed both the Canadian (2010) and New Zealand (2016) national audiology exams. Known for her relaxed approach, ability to simplify complex information, and genuine empathy, she is appreciated by patients for her easy-going personality and warm, quick smile.

Raised in Hamilton, Danielle’s first field of study was Music, and graduated from the Memorial University of Newfoundland and Laurier University in Waterloo Ontario. Wanting to combine an interest in music and patient care, Danielle then completed the Hearing Instrument Specialist program at Conestoga College. Being a professional musician and performing with orchestras and ensembles across Ontario, Danielle has unique knowledge about sound & acoustics, and how it applies to patient’s daily hearing experiences.
